Before you begin
Driver updates for Windows 10, along with many devices, such as network adapters, monitors, printers, and video cards, are automatically downloaded and installed through Windows Update. You probably already have the most recent drivers, but if you'd like to manually update or reinstall a driver, here's how:
- Hi guys To be very frank, though I started using Windows 10 from the Technical Preview days & was an insider for a long time. After each build, one of the best things I loved about Windows 10 was it’s ability to identify and install the best drivers (Occasionally requiring manufacturer drivers for additional enhancements (Sound, VGA, Wifi)) even for pretty old hardware components.
- I got a new phone and for the fun of it, I paired it with my laptop (Windows 10 -but anything windows 8 will work too). When I did, I found that the Galaxy S5 supported 'sms/mms message access'.
- Unknown devices - need drivers Edited Options Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) I have some unknown devices that I can't find a driver for. I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this. I got this MAP SMS/MMS showed a? Also, these are Harware Ids BTHENUM 00001132.
Windows 10 Sms Mms Driver
To open it on Windows 10, 8.1, or 8, right-click in the bottom-left corner of the screen or press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager. On Windows 7, press Windows Key + R, type devmgmt.msc into the Run dialog, and press Enter. The Device Manager can also be accessed from the Control Panel or with a search from your Start menu or Start screen.
Update the device driver
In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update.
Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
Select Update Driver.
If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
Reinstall the device driver
In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
Restart your PC.
Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
