Hey, can someyone help me with my Saffire Pro 40 Firewire Interface on Mac? I want to Stream my microphone with that interface but it does not work In the OBS Settings the 'Saffire' is shown up, but if I choose it, no signal comes through it. System: OSX Sierra. AFAIK the liquid and the pro editions are all connected via firewire so I also bought a PCI Express firewire card for my machine. I grabbed the latest Saffire MixControl which is 3.7 for windows but at the end I kept the older 3.4 version, which should not matter for the issue. Got a seemingly newbie question but something i can't seem to resolve despite 15 years with macs and logic. I've got logic X and a saffire pro 40 interface. i run a large amount of soft instruments and Kontakt orchestral patches so have my buffer set to 1024 when recording to avoid glitching. I do have a serious memory set up with 2 ssds and 22gb or RAM so there shouldn't be issues. i monitor through my desk which i have connected through a jack lead connection into the saffire,

. When I record my guitar into logic X whether directly into the saffire and thus into Logic through its fire wire buss or via the desk then the saffire and into logic, the signal gets there way to late and I have to nudge it into place. I've measured the time it takes the audio to arrive and set the delay compensation in the audio preferences to the corresponding samples lag and it still doesn't seem to get it bang on. Is this the correct way to go or is there an elephant in the room i am missing?Would be great to just record and not have to nudge it into place.its time consuming! any pointers would be amazing for the optimum recording set up. thanks
